Lorraine (Keating) Lynch, 86, of Kensington, wife of the late John ďHalĒ Hallinan Lynch, died on March 16, 2014 at Mulberry Gardens in Plantsville. Born in Meriden, daughter of the late Raymond F. Keating and the late Anna R. (Roy) Keating, she graduated from Meriden High School, worked at New Departure during World War II, and later at the Veterans Administration in Hartford. She was also employed at Family Service of New Britain until the birth of her children. She was an active member of St. Paulís Church, participating in the Social Action Committee for 20 years, St. Therese Mothers Circle for over 50 years, and she loved volunteering at the Parish Center on Friday mornings. She is survived by a son, Christopher Lynch, his wife Janet, and their son Patrick of East Hartford, a daughter, Ann Marie Anop, her husband Peter, and their children, Alicia and Tim of Southington, and a son, Michael Lynch and his wife Tracy of Glastonbury. She also leaves a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Helen Keating in Montpelier, Vermont, a sister-in-law, Patricia A. Lynch of New Britain, two nieces, eight nephews, and very special Frederick cousins. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Gloria Keating. Lorraine was a woman of great faith as well as a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. The family wishes to thank her St. Paulís family who provided so much love, support, and kindness throughout her life, especially during these last few years. Funeral services will be held Friday (March 21, 2014) at 9am from Porterís Funeral Home, 111 Chamberlain Highway, Berlin, with a Funeral Liturgy at 10am at St. Paul's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday (March 20, 2014) from 4-7pm.
